“…available for instrument repairs, setups and modifications…”

Pat Tumbler worked directly in guitar manufacturing in Southern California from 2010 - 2023. He spent those years honing techniques used as industry standards at Fender, G&L and Eastman, with experience from the wood shop to the final inspection bench.

Prior to guitar manufacturing, Pat was attending courses to become a woodworker and it didn’t take long to realize guitars are made of wood! In 2008, he decided to pivot careers and enrolled at Midwest Guitar School of Luthiery in Webster Groves, MO. with the dream of one day opening a guitar shop of his own.

Currently located in Old Town Yucca Valley, CA, the Tumbler Guitars workshop is available for instrument repairs, setups and modifications, specializing in acoustic and electric guitars, basses, mandolins and ukuleles.

“I just had my guitar fixed up by Pat. The thing is, it wasn’t even in much need for anything else since he had tuned it up so well 10 years ago! Great work as always.”

“I had the honor of being gifted a banjo, but not just any banjo, a friend’s family heirloom. Time had gotten a hold of this one and the second I held it I knew I was taking it straight to Patrick. He has fixed and maintained instruments of mine before, and I knew he would deliver the proper TLC to bring this banjo back to life. When I got it back I couldn’t have been happier, and even more excited to share photos with the person who gifted it to me. It plays and sounds amazing. Cheers to Patrick and his love for his craft.”
